Dr. Trudi Collet, a biochemist, was awarded her PhD from the Queensland University of Technology in 2007.
Dr. Collet worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research and investigated novel serological markers for the differential diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease. Since then (2009 - present), she has returned to QUT and is now the leader of the Innovative Medicines Group (IMG) and Senior Lecturer in medicinal chemistry and pharmacology within the School of Clinical Sciences and as part of the Faculty of Health.
Coupled with her extensive experience in protein biochemistry, Dr. Collet boasts a high level of expertise and knowledge with regards to complementary medicine given her ten years in private practice as an Acupuncturist and Herbalist.
